Ouroboros Bronze Necklace
Ouroboros is a Greek word that literally means tail devourer. It is one of the most ancient symbols in the world! meaning...infinity, rebirth, eternity and endless return... symbol that all is one. The snake eating its tail has long symbolized infinity and eternal love. Snake motifs in jewellery have been prellavent throughout the centuries but king Albert helped popularize it during the Victorian era when he proposed to Queen Victoria with a snake engagement ring.

Snakes represent fertility or a creative life force. As snakes shed their skin through sloughing, they are symbols of rebirth, transformation, immortality, and healing.
